Lenova says there are three kinds of disposals, and the unique permaclean drain connects to two of them without an adapter. I took a chance and bought an in-sink-erator evolution 3/4 disposal, hoping it was one of the two of the three that connects without an adapter.

Fortunately, it installed like a charm! I loved the ease, hated the uncertainty while I waited to find out if the two were compatible. Why can't the company just tell us which brands might need an adapter? They'll ship one for free, but why introduce such worry?

I'd give it 5 stars, but the drain wasn't centered in the sink. It was off by at least a quarter to a half-inch. It's not far enough off that anyone would notice, and it's not a problem for me at all, but I thought it a bit weird.
