Bought this valve to install myself after having a plumber install the Delta valve housing that this thing fits into. Installation was a breeze. It allows you to set the desired temp and water pressure separately allowing you to save on the water bill. I did notice when switching the temp from hot to cold, the water pressure changes slightly. It doesn't do this on my other two showers in my home so I think it's this valve and not my home plumbing. Not a big deal but if it's an issue for you, I think Delta also makes a valve that maintains a constant, equalized pressure between hot and cold ( I think mainly for toilets flushing, etc but it would probably help just the same.). Once the correct temp is set - the idea is not to have to change it anyway.

The only reason that I took 1 star away was that the temperature adjustment knob is made of plastic and then coated with "chrome". Come on Delta. I would have paid a little more for a sturdy, solid chrome hande.
