I got this machine when my uncle and i went to a tag sale in NYC. He bought it for $20.00 and what a deal that was. In my home i have a 72 foot pipe in a ceiling that goes from the kitchen across the house and to the opposite corner of the house and this pipe is not slanted correctly inside the ceiling. Drain cleaners do not work because they get stuck in the dipping of the pipe area, so I have had to use a manual snake, which works but no where near the quality this one does. With this drill function it helps by grabbing everything in the pipe, a manual only gets the bottom and only breaks a small hole in the debris where as this one cleans the entire inside of the pipe because of its spinning action. With the manual snake I would have to clean this drain every 2-3 months but with this drill action I have only had to do it once each year. In all my other drains i do them once and I have not had to do them again, its been 5 years now and I rarely use this device unless I help out a neighbor. If I owned a business I would want one of these things they really do a wonderful job.
