You might want to watch this video on this web Site for Maintenance of home air conditioners. Kirk installed our new 90,000 Btu 2 stage furnace and 3 ton 2 stage air conditioner two years ago. His warranty is good for 10 years.
The Rheem Furnace has an all stainless steel heat exchanger. I check this out for myself by searching thru Consumer Reports. I am an old metallurgist and know my materials. ( The common person would not even ask about this in the furnace specifications. ) Please note that Heat Exchangers are the most critical part of a furnace due to carbon monoxide leaks when the furnace gets older. The heat exchanger sometimes will also crack when they get old.

I am including some photos ( old furnace taken November 1992 ) for your information and review showing the 5 year old Trane 90% High Energy Furnace's condition when we moved here to Defiance 21 years ago. I discovered that the heat exchanger had rust holes in the heat exchanger. The house inspector made an inspection of the house before we purchased it and did not closely check out the furnace. So you need to get a second opinion sometimes. I contacted the local furnace dealer in our area and he supplied a replacement heat exchanger from the Trane Company. I took a day off from work at the time and took out the bad one and installed the new one. Then every spring in May I would spray in side the heat exchanger with WD 40. This would ensure that the heat exchanger would keep from rusting.

I have also included our new 95% Rheem Furnace showing the new air conditioner, digital thermostat and Aprilair Humidifier for your comparison.

Remember if you have any questions have your furnace inspected from an authorized furnace contractor or your local gas company.
