I am pleased with this boring bar head. It is made in the USA and it seems of good quality. I had researched this purchase and found a common complaint of the cut thread (it isn't rolled) being a bit rough and mine was no exception. I disassembled the unit (don't lose the balls!) and gently deburred the threads on a wire wheel. After re-assembly, the unit adjusts quite nicely. I recommend this purchase.
