The chandelier arrived early this week and was packaged okay. It was a rather thin, flat box and I hoped when I opened it, the chandelier would be okay. It was. It's a beautiful polished brass and looks easy to install. My brother-in-law is an electrician, though, so I'm waiting for him.

The label "Eight-Light Traditional Chandelier, Polished Brass Finish with Optional Shades" is misleading. I was expecting to open a package that consisted of eight shades. There was no such package. So, if you want a chandelier with shades, buy one from somewhere else or go out and buy eight shades.

I am unable to work and on disability, my husband is retired and has only his SS check each month, our daughter was born with Spina Bifida and is on SSDI. We are managing to pay our bills but have nothing left over.

I have several health problems including arthritis, chronic depression, anxiety disorder, migraines, chronic hep c and my doctor wants me to take drugs that are similar to chemo, a...nd we are currently waiting to see if I have cancer. I also have some strange thing that causes me to vomit for days on end for no reason any Dr. has been able to find.

I have managed to stop all but the most mild of pain relievers after my hip was replaced and all my psych meds since I quit working but now everything seems to be piling on top of me again and my shoulder is getting so bad it it hard to use it. I cannot even think about having my shoulder fixed until the other health things have been cleared up. My doctor says this will take at least a year unless it turns out I do have cancer, then all bets are off.

When we bought this house we were both working and in better health. There is only one bathroom and it contained a tub that I would soak in to relieve pain and soothe my nerves. It also helped with the nausea. A few years ago, when I was unable to use a tub because of my hip, we had it remodeled with a walk-in shower for our daughter. I am worried about her trying to step over a high tub wall. Now I have no way to find relief unless I can get a walk-in tub installed.

I have looked at several tubs online and have settled on is an American Standard 5ft right-hand drain walk-in model 3060.104.crw which is the tub pictured. The money I have asked for which is over and above the cost of the tub is to cover installation, the electrical work (we have to have a dedicated breaker for it and since we have no free ones left we have to get a whole new breaker box) and the structural work to make sure the weight of the tub does not cause it to fall thru the floor.

I know there are people much worse off with much less, but I thought I would ask anyway.

This unit saved me following the "derecho" that struck the DC area during the night of May 29-30, 2012. Hundreds of thousands of homes lost power in the area, yet mine had power enough for a central air conditioning unit's outside compressor and inside blower, as well as two full-sized refrigerators, lights, and outlets. It turned on automatically immediately upon the power loss and ran continuously for 75 hours (!) until the power was restored. I bought this generator in 2009, and never have maintained it (I will check the lubricating oil now.) I really didn't need to do a thing: it turned on by itself, it ran on natural gas (so I didn't need to worry about running out of diesel fuel), it cooled down when electricity from the grid returned, and it eventually powered off. I was not able to run the washer or dryer, but for three days of 95 degree heat, I was cool inside, could run my computers (including Internet access modem and wireless routers), and have light at night. In sum, this is a great, easy to use product.

The best value for you money! Great cutting I am surprised how precise the cuts where and how easy it devoured my stainless steel. I am a hobbyist and have a rather low performance CNC mill but the Niagara cutters more than compensated for my lack of power. However the metric documentaion is somewhat lacking. The charts on cutting feeds and speeds are based on 6 -10-12 mm so if you have a 8mm end mill you will have to figure it out your self. Also documentation is lacking on the metric ones when it comes to different coatings.

Randolph Morris 67" Slipper Tub 7" Rim Drillings LG67SL7WSIAC Review

I just got this tub delivered to me on Monday night. There were all kinds of things that went wrong with my order, especially with the local shipping service that was delivering it to my house. However, I am going to keep my review (for now) limited to the product. Because once my problems were resolved by Vintage Tub's customer service manager (thanks, Leanne!), and the tub actually is now sitting in my house, I can't believe how beautiful it is.

I had my tub custom-painted in standard Benjamin Moore colors, to match the room I'd just painted. The inside of the tub stays white porcelain, but you can have the outside and feet custom-painted any color you want. I gave my order with the Benjamin Moore color chip names and numbers. They got it spot-on perfect. The colors are exactly what I wanted, and the factory paint-job is flawless (minus the chips created by the delivery people). I had the tub sides painted dark chocolate brown, and the feet painted a light robin's egg blue. It looks stunning. I can't wait to have it installed. The plumbing fixtures that I bought to go with it are absolutely gorgeous as well! Even though there were some mix-ups with my order and I initially received the wrong products, or products with defects, Vintage Tub is making good on all of it, and sending me the right ones. The fixtures are beautiful.

All in all, I spent about twenty-three hundred bucks on the tub, custom paint, plumbing fixtures, white glove delivery service, and pretty tub accessories like a hanging soap dish, porcelain overflow cover, and reading rack. The process could have been a lot less stressful with better quality control and service/customer communication, but the tub itself doesn't disappoint and it almost make the whole aggravating past three weeks seem like a distant memory. I'm sure that with the first good soak, it will be. :)

I was a bit disappointed to see that the tub was made in China, because I thought when I ordered it that it was made in the hills of Pennsylvania. I'm not sure why I thought that, but I was obviously mistaken. I always try to buy American whenever I can, especially on large purchases. But the tub doesn't suffer for being China-made. It holds up quite well against tubs I looked at that were five times the cost. I actually looked at one tub that was another two thousand dollars to have it custom painted. This one, as I recall, was about a hundred and fifty to custom paint it. Quite a difference, and in this economy it was the difference (for me) between ordering a brand new tub or refurbishing the old one.

The day I discovered Vintage Tub on line was one of the luckiest days I've had all summer. I had just about given up hope on finding a beautiful tub that I could afford, after searching full-time for a month. If you're in the same boat, today is YOUR lucky day. Give them a call. Mimi was my salesperson, and she walked me through every detail of what I would need for my "woman cave." I was so relieved because after two months of looking, I had no clue about all the plumbing stuff I'd need, etc. She stayed on the phone with me one morning for well over an hour, and custom built a tub ensemble with me and met my every need. Thank you, Mimi (and yes, I have not forgotten that I promised to send you a picture of my woman cave when it's done in October!).

I highly recommend the product. I just wish the customer service and communication issues could be worked out a bit better, because the frustrations from that aspect of it really marred what could've been a fantastic experience.

Like I said, I'm gonna have a good first soak while listening to some John Mayer, and then all will be kissy kissy. :)
