I really like this chandelier. This is the second purchase I've made of a light fixture from amazon.

I did have some problems, but fortunately amazon was around to help out. Unfortunately, some of the glass arrived broken. They sent me a replacement within a few days - problem solved here. I wouldn't buy breakable things on amazon like this unless I knew they stood behind getting broken things replaced.

The finish - chrome, is very nice. No complaints here. I inspected everything closely, and the manufacturing quality does not look like cheap Chinese manufacturing (it is made in china). The quality is really quite good.

The mounting hardware really was a bit of a pain. The weight caused it to "pull down" from the ceiling and created an unattractive gap between the light base and ceiling. After mounting the hardware, I had to bend up the mounting bracket so the heavy chandelier wouldn't have a gap from the base to the ceiling. However, this difficulty doesn't really detract from the attractiveness or anything, a 1 time pain upon installation.

The other sort of knock on this is that if you put in a pretty bright light (I have CFLs that do ~1500 lumens) that the glass turns from the very attractive deep blue and other colors to a light sky blue - which I hated (this is only when it is on, due to light passing through the glass). I remedied this by lining the inside of the glass with aluminum foil. A cheap but perfectly functional fix for this issue.

Overall, I really like the look of it, even though installation is a bit of a pain and I had to do the above mentioned fix to keep the color of the glass the 'dark blue' I like when turned on.
