So I don't know how many people out there have had water pressure issues with their IKEA faucets, but I recently purchased the RINGSK R IKEA faucet and the water pressure was horrible. Dealt with it for about a year before I decided to start taking things apart. In the water line the supplies the faucet (the long 2-3 foot line used for the pull out head, with the weight attached to retract the head) there is a pressure limiting part installed in this line. On the end of the line that attaches closest to the faucet (with male threads) is where this limiter is located. Its a small plastic grey piece with another black piece of plastic in that, it kind of works as a pressure valve I think. Anyways you can cut this piece out with a utility knife, exacto, etc. It's only plastic and breaks easily. Pull it out with pliers and make sure no broken pieces of plastic make their way into the water line and also don't damage the water line while cutting. You will be cutting against brass so you cant do to much damage. Anyways once this stupid little piece was removed I had AMAZING full perfect water pressure. It was such a simple fix and took me about 5 minutes to do it. I was getting to the point where I was going to dump this faucet and buy another one. I really hope this review helps at least someone out there who is having the same problems. Now I love the faucet and the water pressure cant be beat!!! Enjoy.
