  Our old single wall oven died a slow death, when replacement parts could no longer be found. The previous oven still worked, but would beep repeatedly (and loudly!) at various times during the day. We'd trek to the basement to turn off the circuit breaker and then have to go back downstairs to turn on the breaker when we needed to use the oven. It was time to buy a new one...
  
  I researched wall ovens on the internet and found that most are small, really small. Since we often cook a 25 lb. turkey in our oven, we needed something much larger than what is usually offered. This LG oven did the trick and is huge inside. Look for a good price on this oven. When we purchased the oven the price was around $1700., but LG was offering a $700 rebate if we also bought a new microwave - which we needed, anyway. The $700 rebate helped lower the price considerably, so keep your eye out for LG special offers. Plus, we received our rebate check from LG in two weeks, which is pretty awesome, I think.
  
  The oven heats up and plays a sweet little tune to tell you that it's ready. Food is cooked evenly and rapidly. The bottom rack won't come loose when you pull it out, so I think that's a very safe feature for a heavy roast or turkey. There are 3 lights inside the LG, and the entire interior lights up and the cooking food is so easy to see. My only complaint, and it's a small one, concerns the lock on the oven. Our kitchen is pretty small and I often lean against the front of the oven - causing it to lock itself. Hold the "start" for 5 seconds and it will unlock, but the first time it happened I had to pull out the instruction manual (which is big, really big), to figure out how to unlock the oven. May not be LG's fault, but I still find myself leaning against the front without thinking and then having to unlock the oven. But really, all in all I think this is a great wall oven and would certainly purchase it again. Just keep your eye out for the LG rebates, because this is a pretty expensive wall oven!
