Regrettably, this fixture is made in China. However, the quality is better than typical Chinese fixtures.

This fixture is heavy (which is good). Changing the light-bulb involves removing four screws and four nuts.

There was no paperwork with the fixture. A sticker on the fixture said, "A" bulb, 60 Watts Max. so therefore this fixture may not be approved for compact florescent or LED lights.

The enclosure was too small for a 40 Watt (equivalent) CFL.

How this fixture could be improved:

Include a listing and approvals for LED and CFL bulbs. Increase the size of the internal lamp enclosure by about 0.5" to allow CFL lamps to fit.
