Product Description

The Limit 450 Wood Stove is designed to heat up to 1,800 square feet, with convective heat shields that provide a soothing radiant heat. The heavy duty folded steel firebox is lined with firebrick, providing maximum heat output and efficiency, while the exterior is treated and then coated with a high temperature charcoal paint for years of durability and maximum heat radiance into the room. Features a large ceramic glass viewing window that gives a beautiful view of the fire and a removable baffle and ash pan for easy cleaning. Accepts 16-1/2" logs. EPA certified in all states and mobile home approved with Optional Fresh Air Kit. BOSCA (Burns Own Smoke Clean Air) stoves are imported from Chile and feature a special Easy-Lighting technology that makes starting the fire simple and clean. I was concerned buying a stove with no reviews, but after researching so many stoves this one had what was important to me. Although the box is smaller in width and depth, it was higher than most which allows me to stack the wood for longer night burns. We cut 15" logs which fit perfect and as I expected the height really made a difference. The stove shuts down tight and gives us 7 to 10 hour burns. We only have to crack the ash pan door and the coals light up. The large glass allows for a great view and the secondary burn system works great. We also needed a stove that had side heat shields for closer clearances. The only issue I've seen so far is we haven't figured out how to keep it from smoking when we open the door to feed the fire. This stove overall has exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it to others. Check your state for catalytic regulations as I don't think this model has one.

Oven control panel was designed wrong and they admitted it. Oven broke with minimal use, multiple letters to GE home office basically were ignored.
