I bought this light and was impressed with the quality, very heavy and a great finish. It looks like the finish will last forever. I wanted it for my down stairs foyer but with the 8 foot ceiling it hangs to low for anybody 6 foot tall. I put it over my kitchen dinette table and let hang on 8 links of chain. The light is striking, empressive and expensive looking. One important thing to note is that 3 light chandeliers only look symetrical from certain viewing positions. Depending on where you stand, when you look at it, sometimes 2 lights will look to be on the same side which makes it look lop sided.
